Turn Your Packaging Concept Into a Production-Ready Solution

Browse Chengyi Packaging’s current categories by opening style and external form. Use them as a starting point; dimensions, inserts, artwork and finishes can be reviewed for each project.
Hinged and opening styles: Magnetic Closure Boxes, Book-Style Rigid Boxes, Clamshell Rigid Boxes, Two-Side Open Rigid Boxes.
Sliding, lid-and-base and shoulder structures: Paper Drawer Boxes, Two-Piece Rigid Boxes, Lid-Lift-Off Rigid Boxes, Shoulder Neck Rigid Boxes.
Foldable and distinctive shapes: Folding Gift Boxes, Odd-Shaped Rigid Boxes, Heart-Shaped Rigid Boxes, Hexagon Rigid Boxes and Octagon Rigid Boxes.

Magnetic closure and book-style rigid boxes use an attached cover or hinged panel. Clamshell boxes also open on a hinge, while two-side-open designs provide access from more than one panel.
Paper drawer boxes use a sliding tray inside an outer sleeve; a ribbon pull or finger notch can make access easier. Two-piece rigid boxes have a separate lid and base. Shoulder-neck boxes add an inner collar, while lid-lift-off styles use a removable cover.
Folding gift boxes collapse for storage and form a three-dimensional package during assembly. Compare the assembled appearance, storage format and packing steps before choosing.

Start with the product’s length, width, height and weight, then account for its orientation and accessories. Internal dimensions—not just outside measurements—determine whether the item can be placed, removed and held securely. Include the insert, lid depth, tray walls and necessary clearance.
The insert should limit movement without making the product difficult to remove. For a set, map each component before finalizing compartments. For a hinged or lift-off box, check lid-to-base fit; for a drawer, check that the tray slides smoothly after wrapping and assembly. A sample with the actual product is the best way to review these details.
Consider storage, assembly and shipping too. A presentation box may need a separate outer shipping carton. Reviewing the complete packing arrangement helps avoid wasted space or slow packing.

A project starts with a review of the product, intended use and preferred style. The structure and dimensions are developed into a dieline, accounting for materials, board thickness, inserts and opening details. A prototype or sample helps check fit, appearance, closure and assembly before approval.
